TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
1 year maternity leave coverage.
Client is looking to hire- ASAP
Day Shift, Monday Friday: 8am-4: 45pm (Friday s end at 4pm.)
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for all payments going out, and ensuring proper procedures are followed on a timely basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing of accounts payable and issuance of company cheques
Preparation of month-end A/P accruals
Process cheques runs, manual cheques on BPCS.
Process accounts payable memos for debits, credits and recharges.
File A/P paid invoices, open invoices and monthly reports.
Communications with suppliers to resolve inquiries are required.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
Perform duties in compliance to ISO/QS900/TS 16949 quality system standards
Perform other duties as assigned. EG filing, open/date stamp AP mail
Maintains strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, coupled with excellent telephone etiquette.
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
Must have excellent time management and organization skills, and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft office
Must have experience with Accounts Payable and Month End procedures
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
College or University Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred
One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in a similar role
