ASSISTANT MANAGER for an Automotive Facility.
The role of this position is to Manage and coordinate activities of Production Specialist in a warehouse/internal logistic environment and other related duties concerning the production and services of company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage an area and/or department in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Works with and effectively communicates daily operations to all levels of management.
This position requires excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate, verbal and written, within all levels of the organization.
Must have excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point) and experience in preparing spreadsheets and graphs, tracking KPI data, etc.
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts.
Knowledge and experience in internal logistics/warehouse environment.
Supervise Production Specialist and take an active role in the day-to-day production goals.
Plan, coordinate and execute production goals.
Oversee/manage Kaizen projects.
Manage and coordinate production improvements.
Coordinate Quality, Maintenance and others to ensure that Production is meeting and exceeding Customer requirements.
Prepare and maintain collection of data to prepare daily and monthly KPl's.
Other duties may be required insuring that Diversity-Vuteq meets and exceeds our customer expectations and needs.
College preferred but not required.
5+ years of experience in a production environment.
Solid knowledge and experience in Production Control.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Customer Service attitude when dealing with internal and external customers.
Must have the ability to plan, organize, communicate, and motivate employees.
Ability to speak and present in an audience of management and customers.
Must be able to prioritize own workday schedule.
